The 1st Arab Social Media Forum to be held in Amman, Jordan

26 November, 2010 - 09:49
The conference is scheduled for December 11th and will be the first of its kind in the region.

The forum is set to target only social media topics, sharing both clients' and agencies' experience in dealing with social media platforms and different social engagement approaches.

From discussing different strategic approaches to social media to using it as a conduit for social change, the event is set to embark on a journey that looks to create a greater understanding of social media in the region.

Headlining the impressive list of speakers will be veteran communications consultant and author Silvia Cambie who says,

"I believe that social media can give a voice to the voiceless. We can use them to shine a light on efforts and initiatives that would not normally be seen."
