Cameron Batten joins American Express
Cameron will be based at the company's New York headquarters where he will lead the effort to create a global strategy for recruitment marketing and advertising. He will manage the execution of this strategy across all business units of American Express, worldwide.
Cameron joins American Express from Royal Philips Electronics, where he had been working in Internal Communications and Brand Management since 2003. Most recently, he was located in Amsterdam, where he held responsibility for Philips' digital internal communications strategy. He created the company's first internal social media platform, and also designed and executed an award-winning communications and engagement program.
Commenting on his new appointment at American Express, Cameron says:
"I'm thankful to have helped shape internal communications at a company as great as Philips. And I'm even more excited to return to New York to help a world-renowned brand like American Express win the war for next-generation talent."
