How is your Comms Department structured?
The survey questionnaire is to be completed by the most senior communication executive in a corporation or a non-profit. (Please note that we are seeking responses only from the senior most communication professional - the Head, Chief Communication Officer, the Senior Vice President, etc. - in a corporation or NGOs. At this time, we are not seeking input from executives working in government communication departments or in PR agencies.)
This is the first study to examine communication department structure in great depth. Since you lead such a department and have responsibility to organize and leverage your resources for both effectiveness and efficiency, your participation in this survey is vitally important. With you and other Heads/Chief Communication Officers providing your experience, we will be able to get information on the factors that affect communication department organizational structure from various sectors, countries and continents. The results of our study will have immediate practical implications. Your participation will help you and your peers compare your structure to models, best practices and trends.
