Sign of the times?

I just saw this job ad on the web:

"Our client, one of the best PR agencies in the business, now urgently seeks a talented Media Training Consultant to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in PR and journalism, preferably within the field of business and must have at least 4 years experience at producer/reporter level. The successful candidate will deliver media, message development and presentation training to their client base in the UK and overseas, therefore willingness to travel is essential.

The successful applicant will have a natural air of authority and gravitas, and will have experience of counselling CEOs on approaches to tactical media communications."

And the salary?

Between £28 and £34K....  I'm amazing how little people are prepared to pay right now for "a natural air of authority and gravitas" with experience of working with CEO's....
