New communications director named at Lloyds Banking Group

Brigitte Trafford will take on the role, reporting directly to Chief Executive J Eric Daniels.

Trafford will be responsible for overseeing the company's internal communications, as well as external media relations.

Prior experience includes stints at ITV plc, Dow Jones and Cable & Wireless Europe. Most recently, Trafford has been working as managing partner at Burghley Communications.
